And Trembles begin down the spine
As the heart falls to the floor
Twin streaks line a face
And soul forevermore
Crimson tears adorn the walls
Small splatters kiss the ground
And all along the ceiling
Those eyes can both be found
Listen closely to the churning
Of the gears within the clock
Ticking creeping slower
As time begins to stop
They each mark the beginning
And the end of untold tales
Of paranoid screeching
And of fury that’s been squelched
One more time the beating
Of a heart can be heard clear
Tugging upon lonely strings
the heart can no longer feel
Oh, lost heart, please believe
No matter how long it takes
Eternity doesn’t mean forever
Say out lightly, with your last breath
“I know who I am”…
The winter of god, the cold of life
And so the bell has rung again
Small sounds will emanate
And the fog of sleep will rise above
Your mind from beyond the gate
Long lost memories will scar your heart
And feelings of pain begin to start
Your lost inside within the dark
While something wicked leaves its mark
The darkness grows and eats away
As eyes bleed clear beads of pain
