First, let me say that I am finally free from another year of schooling... Kinda of. I still need to pay off my tuition for the term, a good $1,400 left, but it won't be too hard to do; and at 1.5% interest rate, it will be every easy to pay off. But now of course I start back working full time at work at Dairy Queen... Oi... It's gonna be a pain given how many people complain about waiting. (You'd figure if they saw the huge lineup infront of them, they would know that we're busy... The human mind is interesting, isn't it?) So, I'm probably gonna be tired throughout most of the summer, thank god for my only day off every week.
Now recently I came to acquire FF7: Dirge of Cerberus (by the way, if the person who gave it to me is reading this, thank you very much once again, I loved playing it). Now, I don't mind those kind of games, in fact the games I've played that are like that are Oni, Ghost in the Shell: The Stand Alone Complex... and other games that escape me right now. So how did I like it? I loved it. Grant it, there were times where I was swearing at my T.V from frustration, but aside form that it was an already game. And I hear all these people complainign about it: How it isn't like Final Fantasy at all, that they were just using the title as a means to sell the game. Let me first say something: First of all, to my recollection, neither Squaresoft nor Enix have ever done an action shooter like this before, so I mean for probably a first attempt in a 3d environment setting it wasn't that bad. Also, think about all the backstory Vincent had in the original game, there was quite a bit not said. I mean, even Cloud had an anime and part of the game to tell his back story. (And I guess everyone else doesn't matter, though we know what happened with Barret and Cid.) In the end... well.... you'll have to play it through to find out what happens, won't you?
