There was a place I used to go
Where my blood would always flow
There was a place I used to go
Where I was always filled with woe

The hills rolled gently far away
The clouds and sky were always gray
The grass was stained a crimson red
From our lies which we have bled

We moved ourselves to the end of the bluff
Because we knew we had enough
I asked you if we should, and you agreed
You said “we both know this is what we need”

We all need to die sooner or later
Even if less is thought of what really is greater
“Suicide is not the answer,” some say
I think it’s to get away from your internal fray

I thought you would join me in this quick fall
But you suddenly decided you didn’t want to at all
You pushed me hatefully to my death
Not even letting me take my last breath

I thought we were going to do this together
Jumping and feeling light as a feather
But no, you had to do this to me instead
I’ll force you to live the rest of life in dread

My body slammed onto the ground
You watched for a minute, and simply turned around
But my soul was lucky enough to escape
So now you’ll be haunted by my figureless shape

I’ll follow you to every place that you go
My ghost will haunt you till your tears start to flow
People will think that you’re going insane
Unfortunately for you, you won’t be able to explain

You’ll always regret what you did to me
From your own life you will want to flee
Even if I was going to kill myself anyway
All that I ask is why did you betray?
