It's a cheerful and sweet little tune. It makes people smile when they hear it. It's very old. And very sweet.
It doesn't make me smile.
For me, it's more a quiet nostalgic moment of past loves, past regrets and bitter wish making.
It makes me think of how I don't have anyone to share that song with. I have no sunshine in my life. I have no-one to have such moments with.
And while you are thinking this, wondering about all the people who could have been here and who might be here in the future (if anyone) you often find yourself staring at a spot on the wall. And as you stare at the wall and sit in contemplative silence, you start to sing, quietly, ever so quietly, under you breath...
