I have been recently involved with an argument with someone about sexual orientation. He believes that bi's/gays are generally slutty and unkempt, and that you choose your sexuality. So I informed him that I'm bi, and he replied with that he couldn't see it I asked why and he replied that he thought of me as being more "classy" than that. He then asked what my "story" was, like I had some sort of, idk, traumatic experience to "make" me bi. Feeling greatly insulted, I demanded what he meant by "story", and said that I am bi because I simply AM. Psychological studies support the theory that the majority of people are bi and simply do not acknowledge it.
So anyways, if you've been to my profile lately you'll notice the lesbian pride; to my surprise no one commented on it. Well, actually, Damien Delacroix did, she said she had thought that I was straight.
About bi-sexuality, I had considered the idea that I might be for quite some time, just after I became completely pro-gay, in fact, which was about five or so years ago. I suppose, now that I look back on it, that the fact that I wasn't sure should have kind of tipped me off. Either way, I've known for sure for a year or two, though I suppose I never really bothered telling anyone. *Shrug*
P.S I thought about saying who I was arguing with but figured I wasn't feeling quite that vicious, though Yakisprite knows already. If he pisses me off anymore I'll go ahead and say.
