Today, on our way to the space needle, we stopped and saw this HUGE, I repeat
HUGE, fountain. It would shoot water like 110 feet into the air! and there were little kids playing right by it then getting yelled at by their parents for getting wet.
In line for the space needle, this guy gave us two tickets cause he had extras, so we saved thirty bucks. We went to the top and took lots of pictures and stuff.
After the S.N. we went (through the neverending rain of Seattle) to the Science center. Of course by then we were hungry, and I got a personal pan pizza for like almost four dollars and it was smaller than a slice of dominoe's pizza! What a ripoff! We saw this movie about Mt. St. Helen's at the Imax and this one little kid was crying because he was afraid of it. rolleyes
At the Science center next we went through all the rooms and stuff and there was this really creepy doll lady that talked. but it was so freaky!!! it had humongous lips an weirdly shaped cheeks and the FREAKIEST eyes ever!!!!
Next was the Asian Art Museum, which was pretty interesting but showed the weirdest scariest creepiest freakiest movie ever! Not like a horror movie or even really suspense, just....... kind of creepy and haunting and lonely.......it's hard to explain, you have to watch it. it's only like ten minutes long. It was called "Women without men" and in a way explained this Islamic legend about how women have this heaven, or the "Tree" in which they can take refuge. But there was no talking in the movie, just music that changed with the events. I certainly would not advise watching it at night.
When we left the A.A.M., we were all pretty tired and just went home and had leftovers of our Indian dinner for supper. And played Boggle, which I am absolutely horrible at.
I wish I had a baby sitting job. I can't wait until summer so we can baby sit Laura's nieces. What cuties!
Oh yeah, I forgot! When we were leaving the Science Center I got cotton candy which I have not had in six years and it was delicious! Sam got pictures of me with cotton candy all over my hands and face and a big piece sticking out of my mouth. I was wearing such a goofy smile! mrgreen
