We went to the Aquarium and saw lots of marine things. Maybe later I can upload the pictures onto the computer and show them to y'all.
After the aquarium we went on a cruise tour out on the bay. It was actually a lot more interesting and fun than I had expected it to be. And I got a frap! YUM.
So then we went to the Seattle public library and man that place has earned its title. Our libraries at home do not deserve the name "library" in my eyes after this place. words I would probably describe the Seattle library with- enormous, eye popping, awe inspiring, plain old inspiring, ten stories high, book-FILLED, and cultural. There were books in all different languages from German to Japanese to Polish to Irish. IS THAT COOL OR WHAT?
We met Sam there and he took us to the U district (University district) because Mommy wanted to see the University of Washington cause she went to college there. Me, Julie, and Sam waited in a coffee shop where there were lots of -I'm guessins- college kids on laptops, reading, working on reports or just chatting. It was such a neat place! heart And I made up my mind then and there that I am going to move to Seattle and get a job there when I can.
Next we stopped at a second hand book stop. It was kind of weird because you weren't allowed to bring big purses or bags in cause the owner of the shop had cats and before other cats of his had been stolen. We saw the two cats. One was fat and orange and lieing down on a stool. The other was black and white and looked kind of like Bronwen. It was sitting right up on the counter where the cash register was. Btw I got to buy two Japanese books. And Catherine, if you read this, I want to show them to you!! 3nodding
Next we ate at an Indian restaurant and never before in my life have I been so utterly and completely stuffed. Now for those of you who know me well, you will understand that that is saying something. Although the food was certainly delicious.
Our last stop of the day was at Min's apartment. She has the cutest cat!!!!!!! And I am sorry Becky, but I think Keena has competition. Bamboo is simply amazing. She had long, soft, fluffy fur that is colored kind of like Keena's but with more variety. She was all friendly and also very funny and playful. She did remind me of Keena in many ways, especially some of the faces she would make and the way she looked around. She is definitely my dream cat. heart
