I'm more than halfway to getting Fairy Wings. I'm kind of excited, although I don't know what I'll wear them with, yet. I don't have a lot of good items. Stuff I bought and liked a while ago... looks like garbage to me now. We'll see, I guess.
I can't imagine how some people complete these larger quests. I'm having a lot of trouble just dealing with getting to 40k. I can't understand how people can quest for minis or devil tails, or whatever it is that people are after now. Of course, they openly canvass for donations, while I insist upon doing this myself, so I guess that would make it easier. But even still... it's a lot of work.
At least everything else I want after the Fairy Wings is comparatively inexpensive. (:
