Hmm, i am not sure what it is about the moon that gives me inspiration at night, and to write of all things, but here is another poem that came to me as I walked between my house and garage. The moon was being hidden by some clouds, and only a faint glow could be seen illuminting through the dark. When i came back out, it was gone.
This isn't about the moon though, just inspired by it, and the weather.
Swallowed by the clouds,
in the blink of an eye.
The world disappeared,
from cover of dark skies.
And all the angels wept,
as their hearts were hurt,
They watched from above,
the death of planet earth.
