As I walk through the moonlight,
staring up at the sky,
I think to myself,
and I wonder why.
Why I am not there,
with you in my arms.
I'd give you my love,
and keep you from harm.
Cause it's lonely here,
in this world of ours.
As people pray,
looking up to the stars.
It's the moments like these,
oh great lights above,
when I'm on my knees,
wishing for love.
Forget the fortunes,
and forget all the fame.
The only thing I want,
is to see your face.
To be there in your arms,
and to hold you in mine.
to share with you my love,
until the end of time.
Don't know what made/inspired me to write this. The moon was so bright last night as I walked to my house, just kinda came up on the spot. *shrugs*
