I'm in a choir, and we're doing some new pieces. We just recently did St. John Passion, and all I can say is WOW!! Truly moving. Surprisingly, after the concert, someone came up to me and said "That's the guy that knew all the words." Actually, there were some chorals I wasn't comfortable with. But I think the fact that I was in the centre of the choir (both vertically and horizontally) and I looked at the director a lot may have created this illusion. That plus I was very relaxed, and I made sure not to tilt my head down, instead using my eyes to look at the score (very hard to do! gonk ). Anyways, the one we're doing now is Rossini's Missa Solemnis, as well as songs by Canadian composers! 3nodding
