The darkness has incircled me. I feel it, lurking, breathing down my neck. It feeds at my soul, my fear gives it power. It has finally overwhelmed me. I am closed to the world, left to rot inside myself. If I die, you die with me. Your blood is a sign of your weakness, mine is a sign of my strength. The darkness does things to people. It can drive them insane, if they're not already half-mad. Is that what happened to me? The people's insults have drivven me deeper into the darkness, deeper into the gaping pit of lonliness. It has swallowed me, and I will not come out. The only person who can save me, is me. And I don't know how. I am waiting, waiting for that knight in shining armor to come rescue me. Or at least try. For I know the darkness will make every last attempt to drive him away. Someone must save me before it is too late. Before I cannot be saved, not by me nor anyone else. I am an outcast, alienated from the rest of the world. Friends turned their backs on me, enemies lurk around every corner, some seen, some not. Help me, before I die, falling into the darkness' gaping jaws. Before I am forever lost to the world, lost to myself.
