Today, while I did sleep in, it was a very good day. Lim called, the guy that owns the Chinese food restaurant, and told me to come over at 8pm for dinner. I had time to kill since it was 11am and there was like 9 hours to go before I even had to show up, but anyways. Mom and dad couldn't make it so it was just Nichole and I. I dragged her alone because I didn't want to show up alone. It was so great. Before we went, Nichole and I went swimming! I love swimming! It was great. We arrived still wet, but starving, good thing to because Billy had cooked up a storm. Billy is the chef, who, as it turns out, is going to be getting married! To explain what's going on, Lim and Billy are going away. Lim for 3 or 4 weeks can't really remember which one, and Billy for like 6. Billy told us that he had known this girl since he was 14 and that's when they were engaged to get married. He's going to go back to China to get her. Lim is going to see his mother, who's 88 and has cancer, in Singapore. I'm not sure about my parents but I’m going to miss my adopted father and Billy. They are fun, but they are still family to me.
