Home World: Ziost Ziost is an ancient world made up entirely of an ancient dark forest. Not only was it the focal point of the Dark Side but it is also rumored to be the planet where Lord Sidious allegedly first appeared. It was the heart of the Old Sith empire, after the failures of Naga Sadow during The Great Hyperspace War. Its destination has been forgotten in recent times, due to the secrecy of the newer Sith Lords. Many ancient and evil secrets remain in this place of great dark power.

Force Scream If a Dark Jedi is being beaten and frustrated by his foe, he may let out an enraged scream, amplified through the Force, that triggers shock waves that ripple through the Force, devastating both the Dark Jedi and those who are unfortunate enough to be in close proximity. The Force Scream has been called “a wave of hatred, amplified and fueled by the Dark Side, that is capable of smashing through mental and physical defenses with ease”.
Telekinesis This ability is used to lift objects and move them, including the wielder and enemies, in a desired direction.
Comprehend Speech This is a Force ability that enables a Jedi to understand the spoken language of any sentient he's interacting with, though it does not necessarily allow him to speak it, merely understand the general meaning.
Mind Control Also known as Dominate Mind, this is the Dark Side equivalent of the Jedi Mind Trick, though Mind Control is much more invasive, as befits a Sith. It takes complete control of the mind(s) of the victim(s) affected by the power.
Occupation: Sith
History: Karthan was born to a small clan of hermits on the world of Ziost. His parents were well respected in the small village, and he was going to live a life of a regular sentient being with an even more regular family. But, as fate normally holds for the 'regular' and 'set' children of the galaxy, his life wasn't going to be so easy.
Days after he was born a lone tribe of surviving Massassi (who amazingly survived the genocide against them in the Great Hyperspace War) attacked Karthan's village. Both the human tribe living there and the attackers died when the village was burnt to the ground during the blaze of conflict. Only Karthan, a child only a few days old, was able to escape the burning flames of the destroyed home.
He crawled into the nearest building, a Sith temple a mile away from the hermitage, and began to cry. There Karthan screamed to world about the loss of the warmth of his mother, the blood splattered over his skin, and the dampness of the unkempt temple. Eventually, after starving in the temple for days, a force-strong Sith spirit appeared in front of the boy. The dead spirit used her force powers to twist a nearby animal to fetch the child food, water, and other necessities.
Ithil Lowenfang, one of the dead Sith of a long past age, took care of the crying baby till Karthan turned sixteen. She would have left the baby to die but the child's screams echoed through the empty tomb. Each single cry singed her soul to the bone. Karth's screams spoke of inhuman hatred and bare animal instinct. The child also had a spark of the force flowing in his veins.
While she was taking care of the child Ithil taught him the skills/methods of the Sith. For sixteen years of his life he was taught about the force, the errors of the Jedi order, and pretty much anything that Ithil knew about the universe. Ithil made sure, though, to keep the moral teachings of the Sith far away from Karthan. Her life as a Sith disciple cursed her with her spirit form. Unable to pass on, and unable to do anything about it, she wished to allow Karthan to keep his view of the world and to make sure that the teenager could become what he wished to be.
Eventually a passing pirate ship spotted the ex-Sith planet. The scavengers went to the temple that Karthan inhabited and began to loot the ancient treasures therein. Both Ithil and Karthan were angered by the defilement of their home. Karthan unleashed his training onto the attackers. Not a soul was spared from his newly made sabre as he cleared the pirates from his home.
After destroying the invaders he turned to speak to his teacher, Ithil, and found that the Sith was no longer there. She seemed to have passed on into the next world or dissipated back into the force. The apprentice sighed as he left the sanctum of Sith lore, where he no longer had anything else to learn. He made way to the ship that the pirates used to land on Ziost, and commandeered it to fly off to their main ship.
Upon arriving on the ship he slew the myriad of people on board. He shifted the ship toward the core worlds and began his journey to find his own path. After eight years of searching he lost his ship to a group of space pirates, and was forced to jettison himself to the nearest populated world.
