"Just admit you're in love with that girl already!" she cried as she vanished into thin air.
She's crazy like her father! he thought, I can't be in love with her. She's just another human and besides if I was I would never have her as my own anyways. He stood up and walked down the flight of stairs heading towards the kitchen.
Once he reached the kitchen, he walked over to a cabinet and took out a small bag of cookies. He only ate a few before putting them back and walking out of the kitchen again. As he walked through the hallway where all the bedrooms were, he saw David standing in front of Baron's door. He sighed in frustration for his room was on the other side of David and he wasn't up for his whining that day. He started walking away though David called out his name.
"Armadeo." he called again.
He heaved a sigh and turned. "What do you want David?" he asked as a small growl rose in his throat.
"Can you take that woman's soul for me? If I did anything he would know if I did it." he said quietly.
"I can't." he replied simply without any emotion.
"Why not?" David whined.
"Because I made a promise to Baron that I wouldn't do anything to the girl." he replied in the same tone.
"Don't you hate that girl?" he tried another tactic on Armadeo.
"No I don't hate her." he looked away a bit with his eyes.
"Don't tell me you love her too." he nearly cried out in frustration towards Armadeo and Baron over the girl.
"I didn't say I love her, all I said was I didn't hate her." he shrugged trying to be nonchalant about it.
"You didn't say it with words, your eyes told me the whole story." he whispered.
"You're crazy, David." a bead of sweat rolled down the side of his face when he heard Baron's door open.
"What's going on?" Aurora asked, rubbing her eyes, looking like a small child.
"Nothing, just go back to bed Aurora." Armadeo gave her a quick smile before staring at David coldly.
She looked at them in confusion, "Did I miss something here?" she asked.
"No just go back to bed." Armadeo turned to her and gave her a light kiss on the cheek.
She moved away quickly not trusting herself after the stunt in the kitchen and went back into Baron's room.
"Seems like you scare every girl that crosses your path." David remarked.
"Yeah, but I wonder why she's so afraid of me. I didn't hurt her or nothing." he looked towards the floor with his eyes.
"Well she is young and Baron told me that she was about to be raped by an armed man when he was out looking for something." he said quietly.
"Raped?" he looked at him as though he had just been hit in the face with a shovel.
"Yes but Baron saved her before he could hurt her. Baron is so romantic." he gushed.
Armadeo silently thanked Baron then realized that he held some feelings for Aurora. "Good night or should I say morning? I'm sure Michael's missing your warm touch." he said quietly then began to make his way to his bedroom.
"Why didn't you join us the other night?" he asked.
"Because I didn't feel like it and also because he has an innocent soul regardless if he doesn't do innocent acts. Now if you will excuse me I'm going to bed now." he started for his room again as David went to his own room.
Aurora was dreaming quietly in Baron's bed. She was in a room made of rainbow hues and a carpet of lush grass. She saw three shadows walking towards her. Her whole body froze for some reason. The shadows paused then as one stepped forward the other two vanished. The shadow began to morph from a shadow to solid figure with colors as it got nearer to her.
Soon all except the face was visible. She began to hope that it was Baron but it wasn't. It was Armadeo. Her heart began to thump wildly in her chest as he got near. He stood only a few feet from her but she still felt nervous. His black eyes glinted with some emotion. She looked at him in utter confusion as he came closer and put his arms around her. Her mind went blank as she looked at him quietly.
"Aurora I have something to tell you. But I can only tell you here since you're so frightened of me." he stopped and looked at her. "I came to tell you that I hold some feelings for you and they aren't hate or dislike." he kissed her softly and smiled lightly when she returned the kiss.
"But I don't feel the same for you." she said in a voice as soft as his kiss when she pulled away.
"I know that but it still doesn't change how I feel towards you." he stroked her cheek feeling happy that he got to be near her even if he had to disturb her dreams for this brief encounter.
Aurora just stared at him, feeling a little strange as she did. Why would he feel this way towards me? I mean I'm just his prey. This has got to be a joke that he's pulling on me. Then again I doubt he would come into my dreams just to pull my leg. she thought as his hold on her tighten. She stared at her feet quietly. She began to wish she would wake up but she knew she wouldn't.
He lifted her chin gently so she would face him, "Do you hate me?" he asked quietly near her ear.
She looked up at him, surprise mirrored in her eyes. "N..n..no." she whispered, "I just don't feel the same way as you do."
"At least you don't completely despise me." he replied with a weak laugh as he rested his forehead against hers.
She just stared at him, confused by his words. He laughed quietly at her confusion.
"You look cute that way hun. Anyways I shall leave you to your dreams." he kissed her on the lips unwilling to go just yet.
But he vanished as soon as she returned the kiss. She fell to her knees in shock once he was gone.
"Aurora." a voice whispered her name.
"Huh? Who's there?" she looked around in confusion.
"Aurora, you are in great danger." the voice grew in volume as it spoke.
"Danger?" she tried to find the owner of the voice as it spoke.
"Yes," the voice suddenly cried in her ear.
Then a young girl with brown curls and eyes stood before her. She smiled slightly then looked as though she was in a shock.
"What's wrong?" Aurora asked gently.
