I've been having some very confusing dreams lately.

I'm a little surprised with them, seeing as how I don't dream clearly very often.

Here we go:

A few nights ago I dreamt that I was in a magnificent wedding dress, covered in brilliant white beads, and walking down a stoney aisle, not being able to see any farther than the reach of an arm.

I feel hands take mine and lead me to stand before a majestic marble altar.
I am in awe at the beautiful foliage around me, and I try to see my groom's eye's, but they are a blur. Words come to my ears, and they make me smile, then cry. Then I say something that I cannot hear, and I feel my body tremble.

And as he pulls up the veil, I close my eye's to shield them from the blinding light of the sky above, but upon opening them, there is not a soul to behold.

And empty altar, old rotting pews, bouquets of dried ivory roses, and a shining ring on my finger.

I look around me, breathing heavily, but nothing. Slowly, I feel a slight touch on my hand. I look down, and see a tarantula crawling onto my hand! I drop the buoquet, in attemps to repel the spider, but there it is. Still on my hand, it begins to scream, "STOP!"

I freeze. It says, "My poor dear. They are all gone, aren't they?"

I can do nothing from the arachnophobia, but whimper.

"You thought it was that easy, love? How dare you think yourself so deserving of eternal love! What arrogance!" It laughs out it's frustation, and displays its enormous fangs. I swing my hand and it flies back, hitting a tree, and landing on its back.

It rights itself, and races at me. Suddenly, the sound of a single shot. The spider bursts into ashes, and its killer steps on it, reassuring it's destruction.

I look up, and I see the face of my fiance from the land of reality, Joel-kun. I sigh, and I try to get up. He helps me up and brushes some leaves from my shoulder. I go to hug him and I feel a bar keep me from him.

I look to my side, and a young man is holding the bar and motioning to me to back down. I do so, and I try to ask Joel-kun what's going on, but not a word will come out of me. He looks at me smiling, and slowly disappears. I can't believe what I'm seeing. Why does he have to leave? And who is the other man??

All the man does is smirk and raise his bar, and disappear, same as Joel-kun.

I'm all alone again. I'm scared. And out from behind me, I feel a warm wind.
I turn around and there's a tall, beautiful woman standing behind me.

I'm scared at first. But, she open her trenchcoat and motions me to take shelter there. I come closer, and she nods reassuringly. I am finally in her coat and it's warmer and more comforting than anything I've ever felt in my entire life.
I look up and she steals a kiss from my freezing lips, and i feel as if the life has been brought back to my cold body.

She asks me, "You ok there, sweetheart?"

Finally, I say, "Yeah, I am." I smile and hold her.
I close my eyes, and sleep soundly and dreamlessly the rest of the night.
