And an everyone question:
What is your favorite memory from the vacations you've taken? Hehehehahaha!
xd We were driving through the mountains in BC. Roads are crazy up there - they go up, and down, and in complicated swirls and such.
The only radio station we could get all the way up there was classical music, and we had listened our way into being sick of the CDs we had brought with us. (I was happy enough, I like classical.)
But then I started to notice a thing - the music was matching the road. Imagine the strangest car commercial you've ever seen, where everything that happens on screen matches the music. That was it.
Flutes had a solo, light and trilling - road went up, lots of tiny little turns.
Tubas and trombones took the lead with heavy, warbling base, and the road would dive, and swirl gently through the peaks.
The high and low parts would intertwine, and we'd go up and down, rising and falling on the road that matched the music... It was amazing.
However, my amazement turned to horror when the timpani came in- BOOM, BOOM - BOOM, BOOM...
And a sign passed by...
BEWARE OF FALLING ROCKS.
