during math class we went outside to measure a pond . l noticed that the pond was frozen , so l got the idea of standing on it . so l put my foot on it to check that it wasn't thin ice ,l stomped my foot my foot on too , still didn't break . so l put my other foot on it , didn't break then l yelled out "hey look l'm walking on the pond !! l'm walking on the pond !!" then l tried to step off it but my foot sliped , then my other foot started slipping . then l ran triing to get off only l wasn't going anywere . the ice cracked , & the water wasn't as cold as l thought it would be but my feet were in the3 water!!l finally got land , but my pants were wet to my knees. that's when my math teatcher yelled at me to stay away from the pond.
then l spent the rest of school with my pants wet &people asking me if l really did go in the pond . l said no but they saw my pants & shoes so they started laughing at me .
then at the skating rink my friend Sadie kept teasing me about the pond insident . & then l started teasing her about how can't skate , & pionting to her the people who were skating really fast .
