I'm flying higher than I thought I could
My wings gently beat at my side
My fingers entangle with the clouds
The sunlight blinds my vision
I close my eyes
And feel around me as I soar
The wind plays with my hair
The light fills my mind
A new day has finally come
This feels so good
I didn't think the night would end
A new life has begun as well
My wings spread to their fullest
My heart beats wildly
My head spins with new thoughts
My life is free
My body is free
My soul is free
And how good it does feel.
