Religion: Prologue Today a friend asked if I was Christian (I'm not quite sure what brought it up- he wouldn't say) After a slight pause I replied that my parents were. He seemed disapointed, which annoyed me, and so I said (a little irritably, I'm afraid) that it didn't matter, and he said that it did. Said that he wanted "to make the right choices" or whatever. As this reminded me of my mom when she tells me that I should hang out with just the kids from church, it rather pissed me off, and I was about to launch into a full-fledged argument, but I stopped myself before we started yelling at eachother (As that is what would've likely happened). What do you think? This entry will likely turn into a series of posts

	I agree with u. Does it really matter what religion yoo are? I mean christians and satanists can get along if they don't mention their religions.

	What an arrogant b*****d, you cant make the right choices just by any one thing, religion doesn't come into it at all, I'd be friends with anyone of any religion if I liked them. Some people are really fools. As for your Mom, I'm glad my parents don't care about my religion. My Mom's a Unitarian I'm pretty sure that, as lon as I don't start sacrificing cats(regardless of the fact that we have way too many)< she'd be just fine with whatever religion I choose. I wish that everyone had this same attitude. Sure it would be nice to have a friend I could talk to about religion without having to explain how our religions work, but that doesn't mean I'd even consider what religion my friendas are when trying to decide whether I should be friends with them.
