Truth or Dare, a game used commonly at social events. As such, most of the male gender are very reluctant on playing, for fear of embarassment. In reality, their hesitance foreshadows a secret they wish to share, but are unwilling to by any other means.

Case in point. Boy A. has a crush on Girl A. and vise versa. Yet, both parties are much to shy to admit it to one another. So in retaliation, Boy B. makes Girl A. chose between Truth or Dare. Knowing full well, that if picked truth, she will have to reveal her secret, so she picks Dare. She is dared to kiss Boy A. diectly on the lips.

...A silent hush comes over the eager gamers as she stands to deliver the kiss. Boy A. is taken by surpirse by this dare, but will not refuse. He has longed to kiss her, and there's a good chance that she has longed for his kiss as well. (Boy A and Girl A will hereafter be known as BA and GA) As GA nears his face, both blush heavily, and as their lips softly touch, that moment in time seemingly stops. Soon after the kiss is broken. She returns to her place in the circle and both, although feeling quite awkward have a feeling of satisfaction in this simple action.

From this scenario, we see that, Truth Or Dare is much more then a party game. If thought about, it could be considered as somewhat of a catalyst between two people. Another scenario, is the 'truth be told' situation.

Now that the game has progressed, BA and GA and now sitting close to each other. BA wants revenge on BB. BA gives BB the same two options. BB thinks for a moment, and chose Truth. Currently, in the game, there is someone within the circle, that BB has quite the crush on, but as such is unwilling to reveal it. BA smiles and dares him to reveal who within the game, does he have a crush on. Knowing full well who BB likes. BB relectantly reveals his crush to GB, all goes silent in the game.

Thus the cirlce is on going and continuous. Until the game is over. Whether or not the two parties will get together is up to them. It leaves the fact that Truth Or Dare is more then just a simple game. It is used more now, to reveal secrets each player hides within themselves. Although a bit awkward, the game proves it's worth. If not for the game, BA might not have revealed his feels towards GA.

Oh and before i finish up, Yes, i have way to much spare time. This study comes up after i had been playing Truth or Dare with a few friends over YIM for the lasts three days. So you don't need to point out the obvious, i 'm outta school and have way to much free tiime. So sue me, i thought this was fun to write.
