Oh, a second rant in one day? Man, I love my Writer's Release! Hmm, I may continue on with this subject in a later rant...

So, this rant deals with the ever-expanding plague of "txt tlk" across North America. Who on earth though it would be a clever idea to make the term "lol?" Or, even more mind-boggling, the letter string of "OMFGROFLMAOWTFLOLOMG!!!11!!!one!!i!ii" Seriously, what the crap?!? If you think your creative enough to put "one" in lieu of an exclamation mark, be smart enough to type out your frickin' WORDS!

Honestly, it's these things I see in the forums that send me, frightened, into my guilds. It's why I'm so very thankful to have friends who have the courtesy of typing out their entire words. It's why I once proclaimed myself the "n00b-aid," trying to get the n00bs out of the rut before they fell too deep. Now, I'll be lucky to be online and not see someone trying to make the letter "U" a sufficient substitute for "you."
