Aritotle (Home Work Help)

NO PLAJERIZING PLEASE!


Aristotle was one of the famous three ancient Greek philosophers, along with Plato and Socrates. Aristotle was born in 384 B.C. in Stagira, Greece. He was the son of a court physician to the royal Macedonian family. He was first trained in medicine. In 367, he went to Athens to study philosophy with Plato. Plato tutored him for 20 years. After Plato died, he traveled and taught Alexander the Great. Later on, Aristotle created his own school called Lyceum. Aristotle is known for his observations about nature and the physical world. He was knowledgeable about many subjects. People still study about him today because of his investigations of so many different subjects. Aristotle studied and taught about subjects, such as philosophy, biology, zoology, astronomy, mathematics, logic, ethics, physics, psychology, politics, and rhetoric. He is a genius and considered one of the first teachers of modern creative thinking. Some of his most famous works were the texts Physics, Metaphysics, Rhetoric and Ethics. Aristotle died in the year 322 B.C.
