I found myself falling into those 'problems' yesterday. stare

Lets recap. 3nodding

I was asked to write a piece of music, as a favor, for a high school that has very poor instrumentation this year. Point in fact - 1 flute, 1 clarinet, 1 alto saxophone, 2 trombones, and 1 electric bass guitar. Did you know, everything sounds fine except the alto sax? eek
I expected the big problem to come from the guitar! gonk

Specifically, the problem in the instrumentation is that the clarinet and the sax don't sound well together. They're both reed instruments, to be sure, but the sax is made out of the same material as a brass instrument. Very unique....and very annoying. stare

This wouldn't be a problem, really, were it not for the fact that I have to watch how hard it is, too! I haven't even cared about that at all and now I feel like I'm balancing an egg shell on the tip of a needle! scream
This condition, of course, led to the twitching, which led to the 'shopping trip' which led to yet another anime on my shelf. It's not quite a 'guilt complex', I think, but more of 'dangle candy to attract attention away from the annoying thing'. stare I just happen to prefer anime over chocolate, apparently. xp

Well, as a small, inconsequential benefit, at least finishing something else the day before I tried to tackle this has let me avoid the "You'll never compose ever again! Nyah ha ha ha haaaaaAAAA!" voice. Damn my self-doubting character. stare
