I was in a bad mood earlier. Was.

'bout ready to give up on that whole graduating thing. Yep. Gonna just take the whole concept of a 30+ page paper and shove it up the a** of whoever decided it was a good idea to make graduating require such a thing.

And then...well...

A random stranger walked up to me. Someone I didn't even know that I had met once and then never met again. Walked up and said "Hi."

Now, you must understand, this happens to me all the time. For some reason, people just know who I am after meeting me once - can remember my name and everything. (awkward as heck when I'm trying to remember their names, though xp )
That part wasn't the weird part. Like I said, happens all the time.

No, what was weird, was that she asked me how I was doing.

And like I usually do, I told her exactly how I was doing.

Conceive of it as the sound of a broken, whiney record. "I've got less than 2 weeks to get a 30 page paper done...whine whine whine, complain complain..." and so on. cheese_whine

And then she says, "Oh. You'll be fine. I know you can do it."

eek

A complete stranger comes up to me, and with total confidence tells me that everything I've been so worried about shouldn't be so worrying. Because I can do it.

If my faith in God had been lost, it's come back. xd

And it's a bunch of monks singing the lyrics with her band.

I'm sorry, but there is something really wrong when you consider a group of male monks singing "When you touch me like this..." with an electric guitar, keyboard, and drumset behind them. How many extension cords did they have to put together to get electricity into the nave?

"Baby, baby, baby!" With the echo!!!! AUGH! burning_eyes

I haven't laughed this hard in a while. Wow. rofl
