I know i should probably wait until tomarrow to add more but........ I Can't Wait! GO!:
"Now I see why you were all invited," Gretchen said. "This place is a dump! How can I live in this place for a whole month?!"
It was true. This place did kinda look like a dump, but the people walking around seemed so normal you hardly noticed a thing. Everyone seemed like they lived in the suburbs even though they were in a partially destroyed city. The only place that was still completely there was the building in the center that the girls assumed was the hotel. So, they started towards it.
When they went inside there was a small group of people that were so dressed up you could swear they were from Las Vegas on Casino Night. The building was also really fancy. It was all so cool it was kinda creepy. How could such a cool hotel be in such a messed up town?
"Hey!" The voice was unmistakably a guy's, and it sounded like the source was talking to Haileigh. They all turned around and saw a teenage boy walking towards them. "Don't I know you guys from somewhere?"
"I don't think so." replied Haileigh. "We're kinda new to this place."
Suddenly two more boys came up behind the blonde dude who had asked.
"This is Karl," He said indicating to the black haired one. " And this is Jo, and I'm Cody"
"This is Haileigh, Tina, Jessica, and Gretchen." Reanie said pointing to each person as she said their names. "And I'm Reanie. Are there any others with you?"
"Yeah there are two others. But you won't be able to meet them for a few more days." Cody said." Anything else you want to talk about? What are your powers?"
The girls looked so shocked by the question that Karl finally spoke up. "umm... everbody who got invites to this hotel have powers. I can control water, Cody casts magic, and Jo enhances emotions."
"Which can do both good and bad" Jo added hastily.
"We know what you mean. The question just sorta jumped at us." said jessica. "I can control metal, Reanie controls the weather, Haileigh causes beauty on contact, Gretchen is a technopath, and Tina is telekinetic. She can read minds."
"We just think it's a bad idea to just say this stuff anywhere. We try to keep it a secret" Haileigh said." Tina's idea"
"Well that sounds good. At least now you have a chance at surviving." Cody said.
What do you mean?" Tina asked.
"Oops! I sadi way too much there. Sorry, you'll have to wait until the mayor comes to see you to get any answers." With that the boys handed each girl and envelope and walked off. The envelopes held each girl's room key. After they sat down on their oversized couch they started thinking.
"At least now you have a chance at surviving" What was that supposed to mean? Survive what?
