True love, something which many romantist seek for. Through their own ways, wether violent, sensitive, kind, silent...
Some would act violent, simply because they feel that they aren't worthy of such things, that they have to be as tough as the world around them to survive, that through the pain they lived, that it's the only way they can go through... But who'll be there to alleviate the pain they have, to heal the scars on their heart, to remove the burden and weight of emotions they've suppresed within their body?
Those whom are sensitive... they are ignored aren't they? They're thought as friends, left to cry further and to be given a shoulder. Nice guys do finish last, why? Often girls will seek out the bastards even if they do know that the nice guy's better. Why is that? Simply animal attraction, instinct. One can't help it, physical beauty just triggers it in us rather then emotional or mental beauty. Then what does that mean? That these guys, these gentle sensitive guys are simply puppies on an extra special sales with 50% price reduction that you'll get when your big dog starts bitting you too much?
The kind ones, the friends... They won't get a chance would they? No matter how nice you are, it's hard to find a girl who'll like you just for that. You need something more, something else, some looks, some intelligence... Why am I saying that? Because being kind doesn't mean being good looking, or being able. You can be physically impaired and be the kindest guy in the world... Not only so, but kindness can also mean solitude. For if you are truly too kind, and depict yourself as a monster, you'd want to keep those around you away from you, to protect them from being affected by your social status or to be harmed emotionally or physically by themselves...
The silent ones hold their pain to themselves... Holding secrets out of shame, out of kindness, or simply because they are unwilling to remember such pain. They want someone to hold them, to make them forget about everything...
Seeking true love doesn't just apply to guys though. Girls have just as much difficulties, what with all the bastards out there, the prejudices and also all these perverts and playboys acting like nice guys... It's hard to actually trust a guy nowadays unless you've known him for a significant period of time ain't it?
Well... Perhaps I should stop for the day, I've already made 3 posts in one day, probably within the same hour too.... bah, that's what I get for speaking out of the top of my mind.
Edit:: Yeah, I agree with Ash, the guy who commented right below. You have to work hard for things... In any case, I'll have another rant about it somewhere else.

[ Forever: Art of life ] Through the eyes of the Beast of Blood, Malice.
I am but a simple guy, I still have a lot to learn, a lot to see... So therefore, I shall try to impart all that I know and do my best as well... That is, I shall try to give you all I know, and all I've seen, about this strange art which is life.

I actually love the way you put this into words, it's almost like reading a book.. your book. A very interesting set of words, and the tone is marvelous. I have never put so much thought into it like you have, bravo!
To be honest though.. if true love were so easy to find, would it be of any value? I mean.. if it were like going to the store and picking an item would it be worth anything to us? (I'm lacking on metaphor's, so bear with me)
Honestly answer that.. would true love, or ANY love be worth any value if it were so simple and easy to establish, to gain, to earn, or to have?
I personally think it wouldn't, you have to work for it.. it makes it worth more. It makes you want to hold onto it for dear life, because you worked so hard for it, because it means so much to you, right? "Blood, sweat, and tears" my friend that's the way I prefer to live. Meh.. maybe I'm the stupid one, no? sweatdrop
