She sighed that day as she dressed in her normal uniform for school. Tying her hair back in a red ribbon, she stared at herself in the mirror. She scowled a few and finally couldn't stand it any longer after comparing the size of her hips and seeing how many new zits she had, and watching her butt grow larger by the second. She hated it all. It just.. wasn't fair. Why did she have to look like this. 'No,' something in her mind told her. 'Stop that...' But she only pushed the thoughts to the back of her mind as she scoffed at herself once more and soon started off. She grabbed a piece of toast as she shoved it in her mouth and ran back to her room, remembering she had left her science paper on her desk. "You'll be late!" her mother called to her. She only growled at it as she ran past her with her mother waving for her to have a good day. She raced outside, shoving the last of the bread in her jaws and noticed the bus going on down the road. Her eyes widened as she took off after it. She waved her arms wildly as she felt her bookbag wanting to slip off her shoulder. Finally, it fell and everything she had in it fell onto the street. As she bent down to pick up the loose papers and books the red lights on the back of the bus lit up. She gathered everything up and hurried to it, huffing as she got onto the bus. She looked at the bus driver that only gave a grunt to her. "crack addict," she muttered under her breath. Everyone said he did crack anyway so why couldn't she say it too? She took her seat in the middle of the bus, not sitting with the preps in the front or the pervert rednecks in the back. She plundered through her backpack after she had settled herself in her seat and the bus started off. She still had her science paper and this made her happy at least. She sighed and sat back to wait until they got to school. ~ School wasn't that far from home and was only about a five or ten minute ride, depending upon the weather and how much crack the driver had had that morning. After everyone had gotten off, she threw her backpack over her shoulder and her purse over the other. She hunched a bit when she walked, forgetting to put her shoulders back. This made her look a little shorter than she actually was, but to her, she really didn't care. She normally hid her beautiful blue eyes behind her golden hair. She hated how her face looked so she'd let stray strands of hair go into her face that way others wouldn't have to put themselves through having to look at her.
