Political rant
I'm sure most Americans knows of the new home-security installments and such by now. What most people fail to see, is that the goverment is slowly taking away your rights. You might want to know why that it happening.
What is the motive of doing so? Security you may say. The things is, you're not more safe than you were before. And another thing, there is nothing to be afraid of. Yes, I know about the 9/11, thank you very much. But the truth is, that the terrorist do not have the means necessary to do things beyond that. They, plus the goverment, want to scare us. Actually, I would be more afraid of the goverment than of the terrorists. Now everyone who looks suspiscious can be thrown into custody for just being pointed out as a terrorist, looking suspiscious. It can be done, and thousands of people has felt the effect of that.

The decrease of the American constitutional right and the construction of the new concentration camps- you heard right, new camps - plus one scares population makes for a totalt dominion and freedom to do whatever one want. And what is it the goverment want? Power, of course. Believe it or not, but power corrupt people. Maybe not so many and in such a big extent, but in some cases the power lies on the wrong side. The power should belong to the people, it should be them who shapes the goverment, discarding what does not seem to work. It is the American people who just idle and let their rights, which their forefather had shed tears and blood form, be taken away from them. Is it because you don't care? Is it because you don't want to face reality? Is it because it's easier to just say it was the goverment's fault? It is YOUR fault for letting them push you around like they see fit. Stop being idle and get out and see what is really happening. Your freedom, your individual right, your choices, will not be there anymore if you do not take responsibility. YOU can make the difference. But it so much easier saying it wouldn't matter, right?

And what do you need to do then? First off, realize what is happening. Then you have to realize what exactly it is you are up against. Then you can start thinking about what you can do. What are your options now? There are several things you can do. Peaceful demonstrations, public awareness, through such things as this journal or reader's letters, many options. Just choose your medium, that which best can illustrate your opionion in the best possible way. It is also a good idea to have people supporting your idea, unity gives strength and a feeling that you are not alone and, best of all, that what you are saying, is not complete nonsense.
Words can be powerful, even more than you might know. Choose wisely, the choice is yours, wether you want the responsibility or not.

I do not know the full details of the goverment's plans of power-gaining, but I do know that it is NOT the meaning of the goverment. The meaning of it, should be to care for the population's interests. I know it's hard to care for the interests for all Americans, but it does not hurt to use one's common sense. A thing that seems to be in short supply these days.

i think most americans are so brain washed by this point that they do not think they can talk against the government. we are taught in school to obey without question or we are labeled as trouble makers and ousted from the inner circles of our society. "no one likes a trouble maker" is a crappy saying that is used to keep us under control, it is a subtle reprimand that lies quietly in the backs of the mind and keeps us in line because we need, and actively seek, acceptance. The government uses these and many other mind controlling efforts. Why do you think they played the towers burning over and over for months and months, only to do it all over again when election time neared again. Fear tactics, people are dumb panicky animals, if you scare them they will rally into tight groups and run off of cliffs just like buffalo did for the indians. Our government is completely out of control and if the people dont wake up we are lost as a country, we are not a democracy, we are an oligarchy, a government controlled and ran by a few elite people. its scary what they want to do to us, the scarier part is not knowing the rest of what they want to do, not only to us, but to the world. im not a conspiracy nut case but i can see how people can easily become one in this day and age.
