It has been a while since I posted my very first poem, which received mixed criticism, mostly about imagery and such. I ahve trired to improve it this time, I hope you find it to your liking
In the land of emptiness and chaos,
Light emerged, fiends of foul nature and fear bathed in the glory of an Angel
Over them flew a light so bright, they shrieked and fell, never again to reign this place.
Veils of beauty, veils of splendour, veils of love, wrapped tightly around her.
Emptiness and fear now, within just what seemed like a second, the blink of an eye, washed away.
Yearning for this creature of purity, ever yearning, this land is, never wanting her to fade away,
Oh, the delight! Oh, the love! Oh, the feelings, now free, a home for them exist.
Up, up, up towards the light, never going back, never hesitating,
Bound to this light, they are, shining ever brightly,
Only for them, only for them!
Never alone, now needed by someone.
Never lost, now found by that special someone.
In the recesses of the heart, the body and soul
Eternity! An eternity with her, only her!
