Today's Topic: Atomic Structure

A teacher (female) is teaching a room full of female juniors in high school. Needless to say, they're all blond and all stupid. ( blaugh ) NO OFFENSE TO ACTUAL BLONDS

And, well, the students aren't getting atomic structre. At ALL. gonk

Frustrated, Teacher looks at her students in dismay (as they all apply make-up and talk about boyfriends), and suddenly an idea pops into her head.

"Class!" she says, "may I have your attention?" The gum-chewing teens look up uninterestedly at Teacher, who is really desperate now.

"You're all attracted to hot guys, right?" Teacher asks.

"OF COURSE!"
"Like, duh."
"Totally!"

Teacher is now heartened and continues on. "Well, that makes you guys the electrons, and the hot guy is the nucleus! Just like you girls are attracted to hot guys, electrons are attracted to the nucleus." She waits with baited breath for their reaction.

Silence. Then, "OH yeah, huh?"
"NOW it makes sense!"
"Like, totally yeah!"

Encouraged, Teacher adds, "And the more of you girls flocking around the hot guy shields his hotness from the others, so electrons also shield the nuclues's attraction from outer electrons!"

The students cheer about their new-found knowledge just as the door opens to admit a seriously HOT guy (think 17-year-old Johnny Depp xp )

"Ah, excuse me...is this Chemistry 101?" he asks nervously, looking at all the girls seated inside and the complete absense of male companions.

All at once, the students shout: "Look, a hot nucleus! Come on girls, let's be good little electrons and swarm him!" And they all charge at poor Johnny-Lookalike.

Needless to say, he barely escaped with his head. To this day, he sees a psychiatrist to help him overcome the trauma.
