So I saw the movie yesterday, July 15. It was good (much better than the fourth, which they destroyed, and that was my favourite book too! scream ), although it felt a bit rushed to me. I probably would have enjoyed it better had I not been reading the fifth book at the same time, thus making myself hyper-aware to all the changes and things.

I'm having mixed thoughts about the seventh book, due to come out this Saturday. On the one hand, I absolutely cannot WAIT to get it and read it, while on the other, I don't want to read it at all, since that means the series will have ended for good, with no more exiting anticipation for the next book and rabid discussions among fans on the ultimate fate of the characters.

So, I shall purchase my book with both excitement and sadness. I am worried that my favourite character, Snape, will die, which (and I know it sounds pathetic, and it really is) will make me incredibly sad. I've loved him ever since I started reading the books back in seventh grade (about when the fourth one just came out), so if he dies, I'll be devastated for sure (sort of how I felt when Sirius died, but then I didn't like him as much as I like Snape, so...).

Here's looking forward to it, despite my trepidations. smile
