Wait, how do you earn so much gold on Gaia anyway?
I've always been a bit stuck.
I mean, there's not that many options that I know of - there's forums, page-spamming, pollwhoring, and games. How else do people earn gold on Gaia, and how do they earn so much of it anyway?
Urgh. This is going to be frustrating once that apathy-tea wears off.

I just contradicted myself. :XP:
All the ways I know of, including the ones you mentioned 'cause I'm annoying:
Forums, spamming in the CB, pollwhoring, playing games for gold, selling stuff from games, using the Exchange (buying low and selling high for rare stuff), selling art/pets/profile designs/other code stuff, begging in appropriate forums, voting in the arenas, winning the arenas, commenting profiles, surfing.
What I do is post/vote until the gold from that gets low, and then I go vote and comment in the arenas until I run out of gold from that. If I have more time to kill, I browse the forums (to get the surfing gold) and play a game. I like the Word Bump best because you know how much gold you're getting, and I can abuse my big vocabulary. Jigsaw is cool, but I've gotten 1g for a puzzle before. >_>
Though really you should see what someone like Index has to say - I'm not what'cha'd call "rich," really, I just have one or two good items. Stupid Shadow Spirit is still inflating. crying
