slowly moving they told me.
My stomach ached and my hands became numb.
The creature lay there on the floor of my porch.
Not a movement until two days ago.
I stood there the entire day just staring at it's strange appearance.
The knife-like teeth potruding from it's crocodilian mouth.
The creature looked like a mix of all the dream creatures imaginable.
Then when the night was still it's eyes opened.
It gazed into my eyes and my body would not move.
It let out a breath of gray which slowly seeped through my veins.
It quickly peered at me with tear filled eyes and that was when a bright light blinded me.
I woke up the next day and no matter how much i tried, i could not find the creature.
I could not understand why the creature came here for such a short time.
At least not until today.
Whenever the light no longer seeps through the sky and when the night they come.
Gray plants appear from the floor where the creature lay and protrude knife-like thorns.
