Tears

Tears I wish to shed,
Tears I wish I had.
During the day,
During the night.
When I listen to friends,
When I listen to superiors.
Each time I sit with friends,
Each time I sit alone.
A pain sleeps in my heart,
A pain sleeps in my soul.
Trying to keep it in,
Trying to keep it from friends.
It kills them when I do,
