Vadrielith Cuthalion stood on the edge of the dock, overlooking the sea. A warm breeze tossed her hair as she stood there. What had happened that day? Why had she left him? Had she been in love with him...?

She couldn't have been. She knew him for only a few days, and yet.... A tear rolled down the side of her face and she yelled his name loud and long over the water: Jak.

It had been two years since she had sent him back to Spargus City, but she still missed him. She wiped the tears from her eyes and turned and began walking back towards the city. She passed through the gates and...

Wait... the city?? Damn it... she thought to herself. Why did this always happen to her? Any time she wasn't thinking, she got arrested.

The guards, judging by her clothes and appearance quickly had her surrounded. They shoved the sleeve of her right arm up and they saw a 'P' branded there.

Her skin was bronzed, her hair wind-tossed and partially in dreadlocks, and her ears (which had nothing to do with her being a pirate) were long and pointed.

They threw her into jail (literally), and after she picked herself up off the floor, saw a familiar face. "Jack!"

"Tha's CAPTAIN Jack, if ye don' mind," he replied. And then with a drunken grin, he added, "So, how do ye like paradise, eh?"

"Some paradise..." she muttered. She had found a crew quickly, but they all had a little 'accident' while on a voyage. So she found another one, which also perished. But she hadn't been able to find a third... and now she was in jail... again. Her record with the law was far from spotless: seven murders and quite a few break-outs.

She sighed and sat down with her back against the wall, closing her eyes, and went to sleep.
