So yesterday was my birthday! Yeay for me, right? I'm a quarter of a century old! I find that a little scary, but there it is. One of the things I got for my birthday was a 5 spaces expandable silverware holder. Yeay! Now we won't have fork overflow!

So I was trying to move stuff around today - make it fit into the drawer -and ended up dropping the whole thing on my foot. Yes. This includes the steak knives. one on which impaled my foot. Its stopped bleeding, but it doesn't hurt, and that kinda scares me. I don't think its deep enough for stitches, but I'm gonna ask my hubby when he comes home what he thinks. I'm pretty sure it can wait that long LOL.

I also got a couple of Laurell K Hamilton books (the Anita Blake series), which is pretty cool if a bit smutty. Of course, I have to re-read the most recent two before these so I remember wtf is going on! smile
