I remember I was at the age of 3...
My parents tried to be cold and bitter to me, but even I could see through their eyes that they didn't have the cruelty to hurt me... I even remember the lullaby that was sung to lull me to sleep, it haunts me as much as the night I lost them.
The Clan leaders came in and slaughtered my family...I was hiding next my father's slain body.
They hauled me up by the back of my raggedy shirt and tied my neck with a rope....It was all thick and bristly and was really heavy...
They dragged me outside...it was in the midst of a storm.
I was forced to trudge along as fast as hell.
Then...They threw me...off a cliff and into a river...
It was terrifying...
I couldn't see anything and hardly was able to breathe when I was flung to the surface...
I suddenly fell down...what could've possibly been a waterfall...and I end up stuck in a bunch of ferns...
I was cold, mud sticking to my skin, and leaves in my hair...
They thought I was dead, but I sit in this dark room. The window open, the sent of approaching rain all around.The only light is a small candle. I'm writing in this little black journal with a feathered pen and thick ink...
Just to let you know...I'm not dead.
