Ran across the forest down the slopes dodging trees and bushes. There was no where to go without feeling lost. She ran for the thickest path to slow them down. She jumped over a trickling brook jumping on the stones. She could hear them not to far behind. My sight darkens as so does the sky. My face and legs and arms are scratched by branches and trees as I could see very little now. I trip on a stone and scratch my leg up and some thorns. I looked up as the sky was illuminated by a whip of lightning. I couldn't get loose of the thorns as I heard the men coming closer, I press against the bushes and grass hiding myself in them as I still struggle to get loose. The thorns and pricks digging into my skin, with one hard pull I got free and waited for all of them to pass by. I limped from the ground and heard a laugh. I looked all around for where that sound came from...then I found source in the shadows. I turned and ran again slower but never the less running. It started to rain hard in the forest as I concentrated on getting away as far as I can only hearing the sound of feet and rain...
