The art of gothism Gothism is different for everyone. The reason behind why they are goth we may never know. I shall share a few things with you about why I practice the art of gothism. When I was born my birth mother had aborted me. I never know who or what she looked liked and that pains me. I wish I coulf find and lop off her ******** head. That is one of the reason I practice this art. I was then adopted by a christian family. today I blame god for my problems. As I later grew up I found out I had a severe case of A.D.D., but now I've learned to control myself much better. With me knowing I had A.D.D. I got made fun of alot for knowing I got angry at people and threw things sometimes. I took pills to help stabalize me. The side affects were that it made me gain weight. By the time I was in the fifth grade I became obeise. I was made fun of oh so much and it hurt inside. I was cut down like a tree and I didn't know what to do. This teasing went well on through my middle school and is going on into my highschool year. I don't have many friends, but I don't care. I am happy for the ones I have. today I blame god for my problems because I have prayed so many times and yet he hasn't been there for me. It pains me so. Please remember next time you stereotype a goth remember what I went through. This about sums it up. I could go into much more detail but I rather not. 	Hey Hitokiri. I can appreciate your words and I honestly even understand a bit. I will of course not go into detail here or maybe ever if it so happens that way. I agree that stereotyping is wrong and people SHOULD pay more attention to the person inside not out..if that was the case nobody'd really know me 'cause I'm an excellent actress..lol..oh, not not many do...hm...anyway hugs....

	I hate sterotypers! I was wearing all black the other day and this random kid came up to me and was like "Are you goth?" I wish I could punch him... emo AWW! DON'T WORRY HTIOKIRI! I'LL ALWAYS LOVES YOU! heart twisted

	Uhh ... I'm not really sure how to tell you guys how much I appreciate these comments. I'm not one to say sorry or thanks very much, but I forced myself to say it. smile. It has been a long week and you guys make it a lot better. Even if I can't pysically see you.

	Mate, I understand what you've gone through and many ppl i know and my self have had alot of st to deal with and its changed us all for the better i hope, i my self hate religion atm and if ya ever need to talk just say so k. smile**

	Yes yes.It's all very sad and tragic.I was teased alot to, but that didn't mean I became the so-called label Goth.I honesly pitty you.If you hate god so much then why not choose a different religion.There are so many out there and most of them are really good.In fact.There is one religion is based around self empowerment.To make life better for you.Yes it involves praying, but the whole thing concentrates on believing it will work and it is to convince your concious AND sub concious mind that it will work.Mind over matter.As much as I would love to have you on my couch and observe you in a better perspective, just try and think outside the box.Maybe there is a way to make things better and not restort to something so incompetant.

	I know what you mean. I'm a b*****d childe my mom a whore, my dad a cocane addict. I was born with a defect in my pallet. i talked with a slight lisp and i could not pronounce "s" properly. I've been teased most of my life. I too have had verry few friends in my life and just this past week i've lost most of the ones i had left. (parents thing i'm a really bad influence, mark had lukemia, and Kyla was shot). I don't believe in god. if god existed, then why is life like hell? and why does everything seem to get worse for me whenever i try to pray? i too am goth. and sterio-typing is murder. it's what got Kyla shot in the first place.

	I was made fun of by my older brother by 7 years, until he moved out 2 years ago. I got so upset I use to yell at him in my sleep. He threw a economics text book at my head ( Step dad teachs it ), And tied me to a tree, and left me there for 3 hours. No joke. I was tramatized as a young child, and those memories still haunt me today.
