BIO: Jennifer was born into a working class home where nothing was taken for granted and ignorance was the foundation of her childhood. Through school she had a zero-tolerance policy with the other kids and everyone knew to keep off the subject of her family and home life; not that it was terrible it's just they weren't the wealthiest but were proud of what they earned and that they had a roof over their heads.
She would stand up to those she knew could probably break her, considering she was never that big, but her will and backbone made her seem taller than she was. Having to pick up her weight in the household with her parents each working two jobs, she grew up quickly and soon forgot what being a kid was all about. To her, being a kid meant keeping good grades and accomplishing more than her parents, not getting out for jump rope and games. It was when her parents enrolled her into soccer and other sports that she found out what she was missing and started lightening up enough to make some new friends. Her studious focus was lifted and she was actually able to concentrate better and managed to stay healthy.
However, all this changed when she turned 11. Her mother had found a new job at an office building working as a secretary. She would arrive home with bigger and bigger paychecks until one night she brought home her boss, Edward Delmar. He was about the same age as Sara Daae, Jen's mother, but didn't seem to fit in with the shabby lifestyle of the Daae's. During supper, Sara leaned over to her daughter and whispered, "Isn't he charming, Jenny? He could do great things for this family."
A few weeks passed and Edward made more and more visits to the home until finally, Sara announced that she would be leaving. She said it was all for Jennifer, that she deserved a better life than what she had been given and left Francis Daae for the charming, rich and lavish Edward Delmar. Sara remarried, but Jen refused to change her last name; to her her father was her best friend and the least her mother could do for taking her away from him was let her keep the Daae name. So off they went to his mansion, a departure from the family home but little did any of them know, the new Mrs. Edward Delmar had a disease growing inside of her that began eating her life away. She passed away only after a few months in the Delmar residence.
Oblivious to where Mr. Daae was, Edward took in Jennifer. He pulled her from school and gave her a private tutor so she would have time for Edward's alterier motives. He began training her in his other business at the age of thirteen. His business: a contract group aimed at mercenary jobs. He found her the perfect candidate with all the sports she did and how she excelled in her studies. It wasn't long before she was introduced to the team and quickly worked her way up to Captain by the age of 16.
With a level head and with an austere attitude, she takes on missions. In a way she has reverted back to her old self, before age 11 and became quite interverted after the slaughter of her team.
Her tweek is her step father, Edward Delmar. He knows just the right way to tick her off, but knows just the right way to put her in her place. Beatings follow a foul mouth or a step out of line and she wears a few bruises and scars on her body. She has sworn to get back at him one day, but for now she is his mercenary, he owns her.
