Forgive this outburst but...nooooo! Curse you Next-Gen! gonk I was supposed to be done after FFXII, but nooo, they just had to come out with newer, better RPGs cry On two separate platforms no less stressed So unfair...

Blue Dragon by Mistwater for the XBOX360. Mistwater? Who are they? They're a studio started by Hironobu Sakaguchi...the mastermind behind the Final Fantasy series. He left Square to start this studio with Microsoft's money. And its being worked on with the help of Akira Toriyama. Say what you will about the DB(Z) series but he's the man that also gave us Chrono Trigger and Dragon Quest! gonk

So what be the other RPG on the other platform I'm talking about? White Knight Story for the PS3. By whom? Level 5. Who are they? They're the developer that gave us, IMO, the near flawless Dragon Quest VIII! gonk

I can almost see Square waving their white flag ninja At least until they can figure out how to make RPGs without milking out the Final Fantasy name. They've tossed out gems like Xenogears, Seiken Densetsu 3 and Vagrant Story before so here's hoping they still have it...well, its a good thing they've got Enix to turn to, hehe. They probably won't come up with quality games like Xenogears and Vagrant Story though since they dropped a majority, if not all, of the team that worked on those two games. Which is why Xenosaga is under Monolith Soft/Namco.
