First of all, I'd like to apologize for all the scrolling you may have to do while looking through this entry. Anyway, I had a few things to say about this little project I just finished but I completely forgot a majority of what I was gonna say.
For those who don't stalk me, which I'm sure not many people do, I've been running a small thread called The Society of Superheroes in a little forum known as Avatar Talk. It just recently hit the 2000 mark in pages, 30000 in posts, just over this weekend which I'm, sadly, proud of. To think something I created would have lasted this long and, hopefully, will continue running strong. At least something I acknowledge, and openly admit, to creating...I'm sure not many people will understand what I mean by that except for those who knew me from the very beginning.
Anyway, I knew the milestone was coming soon so I started getting to work. Unfortunately, not the sort of work I should've been focusing on but hey, I've always been a procrastinator. And what came out of it is what we have here in this journal entry. Originally designed to be my sig for the next couple of weeks, possibly months, but I decided against it. For those not in the know, these are the members of SoS. From left to right: Creid, Bilious, DK & Seraph. All actual users of GAIA. Creid, obviously being myself. And Bilious, aptly named after himself as well. DK being the short form of his GAIAn name, DragonKid is also named after himself. Lastly, Seraph, the only member original enough to come up with a totally separate name is none other than Nakago_Chan.
Now, as to why I decided against using this team picture as my signature, well...again, for those who haven't been stalking me, there is a SoS guild which I was planning to open shortly after hitting 2000. This team image was to promote that. But I've decided to keep it closed indefinitely because, to be honest, I really don't believe there to be any real interest in joining such a guild. Guilds cost 20k, yes, I know. Call me stupid for wasting all that gold (more, really, since I bought all the sub-forums as well) if I plan to keep this guild closed, doesn't really matter to me. If there is any actual outcry, which I'm sure there won't be, for this to guild to open up then I will.
Onto the images themselves. I haven't been this satisfied with any drawings I've done in a while. Well, not so much in Creid or Bilious, those are sort of just doodles I just decided to go and ink. Seraph and DK, on the other hand, I'm really proud of. Other than Seraph, they're all sporting the latest versions of their costumes. I don't feel too bad about not spending much time on my character o Bilious' because, frankly, we've sort of been stealing the spotlight from, IMO, the backbone to the SoS thread. Bilious being a moderator and me being the artist, and getting a majority of the compliments when it comes to SoS, Nakago and DK tend to become the unsung heroes, nudgenudgewinkwink, of SoS. Really, if it weren't for their dedication to the thread, it wouldn't have lasted this long. They've kept it running while Bilious meandered over to his new home over in the Breedables forum and while I couldn't handle the pressure of people in general, heh. I think its about time Nakago and DK get recognized for what they've done to SoS and since I suck at everything else, I thought why not give them some kick a** renditions of their avatars/characters? So I did. Hopefully they like them. So, Nakago, DK, if anything, these drawings are for you.

With all that said, I'll leave you all with a quote from Good Will Hunting for no apparent reason...or is there? Hmm.
Chuckie: "Let me tell you what I do know. Every day I come by your house and I pick you up. And we go out. We have a few drinks, and a few laughs, and it's great. But you know what the best part of my day is? For about ten seconds, from when I pull up to the curb and when I get to your door, cause I think, maybe I'll get up there and I'll knock on the door and you won't be there. No goodbye. No see you later. No nothing. You just left. I don't know much, but I know that."

As for the thread, if there wasin't such an awesome group of peeps always posting in there, it would have probably died long ago heart
