Lost Within My Mind
An account of my life.
Chapter 5, page 1
As I was hurled into the truck, a great fuzzy blackness interfeared with my vision. I soon found myself losing conciousness. Atleast I had escape, and not a moment to soon....

"Will she be alright?" an anxious voice asked.
"I believe so. She might not be able to walk without the cruch for awhile, but I think she will make a full recovery." replied another voice. I opened my eyes. Floresent lights screamed into my eyes. I blinked, letting my eye adjust to the brightness. I looked left. There stood a faintly blurry figure. The person as dressed in black, I could make out no other details. I glanced over to my right. A man in a white coat stood over me, marking something down on a clipboard.
"Sabriel! Thank God!" The person in black, now idenitfied as the speacker who sounded anxious, said. I wipped my eyes, for the blurriness was my tears. I smiled slgihtly.
"Jack, is that you?" I asked blindly.
Jack beamed. "Yes! Sabriel are you alright? How is your leg?" He asked. I smiled. Jack, with his messy brown hair that seemed unwilling to lay falt. His brillant green eyes, much like my own. Jack.
"I'm fine. Where am I?" I replied.
"St. Merry's Royal Hospital." replied the man in the white coat. It suddenly hit me. he was the doctor! I flet suddenly very stupid.
"How did I get here?" I asked the doctor.
"I drove you here after that dog bit you, remeber?" Jack's voice was strangley strained. I smiled.
"Yeah, that was you?"
"Yes! I am glad you remeber!"
"And you'll be alright." the doctor suddenly spoke. "I'll leave you two to talk." he smiled faintly and left the room. Now that I looked around, it was hard not to think I was in a hospital. The white walls, white floor, steel, sterile carts and trays. No windows. Only the florestent lights that made everything worse.
"I can't stay here long, Jack." I told Jack firmly. "This is the first place they will look. Where is the hospital, anyways?"
"200 miles away from where I picked you up." Jack said, laughing. "And I've got a place for us to hide in town. We'll got there after your medical card clears." He sat down in the chair beside my bed.
"Jack, where did you come from? How did you know?" I asked.
"An old man by the name of Wilson told me."
"Really?" I couldn't help but smile.
