Part Nine: Greater Gargadon (Post-Time Spiral Standard Legal)
Time Spiral is officialy on the Gatherer! Yeah, Kamigawa rotates out October 20, meaning half the Magic community is going to become emo because they can't use 4 Jitte in a deck anymore. Play some real cards, noob. Like Ohran Viper. Thats actually quality card advantage, unlike your Jitte. What does it do to get card advantage? Remove a charge counter from Umezawa's Jitte: Target creature gets -1/-1 until end of turn. As for Viper, if it hits a creature, that creature dies. An opponent, draw a card. And your Pithing Needle. I don't see it stopping Birds, now do I? As for Meloku, how about Supply/Demand? Where you don't have to return lands? Now, there's Tribe Elder. Ok, Birds, Elves, and that new goddamn Sliver that has Birds' effect. They get you mana, and not die. Oh, and Terramorphic Expanse. Well, it dies, but its free. Kodama of the North Tree? Time Spiral brings Gruul Beats Stonebrow, Krosan Hero. Then there's that silly Eight and a half Tails. Why the hell can't you just use Story Circle? It doesnt cost 3 mana to stop 1 spell. And Keiga. How about Confiscate? You don't have to wait for anything to die with that. I'm talking to you there, Izzetron. On that note, this new deck is Izzet. Without the Tron. Then there's the new card to go with Tron. Urza's Factory. Its land type isn't Urza's Factory, just Urza's. "I just played an Urza's!" Urza's what? Was one of those people at Wizards assaulted while making that card, therefore leaving it at Urza's? Back to a few sentences ago, this deck is Izzet. And intends on killing you with a card with Suspend 10. With this overcosted piece of s**t:
To get this moving:
Turn 1: Mountain, suspend Greater Gargadon
Turn 2: Upkeep (9 counters), Island, Clockspinning (8 counters)
Turn 3: 7 counters, Island, Paradox Haze.
Turn 4: 5 Counters, Island, Clockspinning + Buyback (4 Counters)
Turn 5: 2 Counters, Island, Buyback Clockspinning, Clockspinning, and you have a 9/7.
If they counter it, Commandeer their counter, so it counters itself.
