Ooh, I learned something! heart

I think for younger students of Japanese, age and school year are important.

And don't forget hajimemashite! I didn't learn that for three years, and whenever someone would say it to me I'd get this deer-in-the-headlights look. Incredibly embarrassing!!

It depends on what you have (XP, WIndows 2000, Mac OS) but you inspired me to actually create a "type in japanese tutorial" so I'll post that later.

Edit: I created a tutorial that will work for Windows XP and I think 2000.
Typing in Japanese

Stupid and trivial question time. ;P

I've been beating myself with the Genki Flashcards you posted in a guild thread (which, I'm amazed, have actually worked. My memory is beyond horrible. Thanks for the link heart ).

Just for fun, I was trying to see if there are characters I could actually read in this post. In dialogue two, in the first line of what James is asking, right after 'Sumimasen,' is that typoed as 'Suuki' rather than 'Suzuki'?

(And I do apologize for such a silly question. XD)

Hey, good catch, Forte fal. I must have forgotten to hit the "z" so I ended up with an "u." It's very difficult to edit Japanese in the journals. On the forums, the characaters will show up in the edit box, but in the journal edit box. it's like their unicode number, so instead of a character, you just get #187694#8593#72753, it's annoying, you just have to delete the line and start over. But, hey, you're learning something.
