You'll wish you hadn't....
Freedom taken away was never Freedom in the first place
She rustled under her heavy covers as her pale skin nearly matched her white sheets. Her champagne blonde hair was strewn about her pillow and flowed down to her waist as she tossed slightly. She had slept soundly last night and didn't want to stay in bed today as well, for she did everyday because her illness kept her down. She was tired of being sick... it had been that way ever since she could remember and she wasn't allowed to go outside, or have friends, or visitors, in fear that this would only sicken her worse. She sighed as she gently rolled her light covers back and sat up, peering about the great white room. She stretched as she rolled her head a bit, trying to get her neck to pop when it never would. She stood off her bed as she brightly smiled, her grey/blue eyes glistening bright in happiness as she let her long, cotton sleeping robe fall down by her knees. Very carefully, as she steadied herself in walking, she made it over to her window.
Her window held a wonderful view that she often would sit to stare out at for hours with nothing else to do. It held the view of the garden down on the ground that her mother loved to wander about in and plant and prune the beautiful bushes and trees. She leaned against the window sill with her elbows upon it and her chin in her hands as she gazed down at it. She wondered how it smelled, the flowers blowing about in the wind, the trees shifting in the breeze... it must have been wonderful. She looked behind her to make sure no one else was around and then she returned to the window as she gently stood on her tiptoes to lift the latch upon the great arch glass and softly pushed out on it as she nearly fell out, for it opened so easily considering it had never been opened before. She took in a deep breath as she closed her eyes and smiled, leaning heavily upon the sil now. The fresh scent of the blossems filled her soul and gave her a joyous feeling. The trees ran along with the same wind that now shifted through her long, straight hair. The bushes stayed content as she peered down at them, slowly opening her eyes to only smile brighter. This was so wonderful... so great...

But, suddenly a harsh hand came upon her shoulder as she was thrust back and the glass quickly closed in a large bang. She shuddered softly as she looked up into her father's eyes, those upset, glowing eyes. She hung her head shamefully as she stood there and slumped a bit in his mighty presence.
"You know you shouldn't wish for such," he sighed as he kneeled down to her level to place his hands upon her shoulders and look into her frail face. "It just isn't possible... I'm sorry..." he told her.
"I.. understand father," she said in her small, shaking voice, but she wouldn't look up at him, embarressed that she had her freedom for such a small time and it was taken away that easily. It wasn't fair to her. She wanted to be able to do what everyone else was... she remembered her mother telling her of how everyone was equal... but this had to be a lie... she wasn't equal... she couldn't do what everyone else did... she couldn't... it wasn't... fair....

She sighed as her father led her back over to her bed and gently lifted her up into it, gently kissing her forehead and told her not to want or wonder of such things that it would only cause her to become ill and that it pained him to see her ill. She nodded softly to him and rolled over to face the window as he left and she fell to sleep watching her freedom from afar

Sorry, no more... this was just a quick inspiration and I might have more of these to come, but it won't be continued I'm afraid
