I have realized that his world is full of shattered lives and broken dreams, since we are born we strive to achieve something in this life, and yet few of us ever become what we once dreamed we would be. So many dreams lost, or compromised by time, we change and our dreams change, or are forced to change, plans, and hopes, none of them really last, and yet we continue on. We push on with life, pursuing new dreams, sometimes false dreams, or easy to achieve dreams, our lofty goals gone and shattered, the only thing left a mournful dirge to be a requim for the lost innonce, the lost belief, which leaves us more bitter and cold. Still mankind is a race of survivors, and we trudge on, no matter how many dreams we lose, no matter how many plans and hopes are broken, we still strive to do something with our short lifespans, something that someone can remember us by.
Our lives are full of pain and suffering, and no matter what we choose we always have regrets and second thoughts wishing to turn back time, and yet we still cling to the hope that tomorrow will be a better day, that tomorrow everything will be alright. Even in this cesspool of a world, where morality has dissapeared, where almost everyone has become a creature of base instinct, we still hope for the future. Are we merely deluding ourselves? or is there actually a chance we can make the world a better place for the future, a chance that we can leave a legacy for our children and any others that will come to follow? Or are we all already lost, lost in the dark and clinging to each other just waiting for the end to come. I guess that will vary from individual to individual, and only time will tell what we do leave for the future, whether it be a good place to live, or a hell on earth, only the people of today can make that decision and we might not even be the ones to suffer the consequences of that choice.
