Noypi. :]
I'm listening to this song by Hale. Kuya told me to, so I am. XD It's called Blue Sky, and it's by a Flip band called Hale. It's simply awesome. Broken Sonnet is the other song he told me to listen to, and they're both wonderful, albeit poor recording quality. XD; The Blue Sky video features scenes of life in the Philippines. Ah, the bright colored containers, the well-worn-from-constant-use metal pots, the multicolored houses, the kids running around everywhere... And the plane shown. That reminds me of when the kids went with Uncle Ed to Las Pinas. They were talking about how they saw the planes fly close to there. There's a local airport in Las Pinas, I believe. Aw, those kids. I simply adore each and everyone one of them.

It's amazing how humbling that place is. The Philippines. On one side of the globe, you have America -- The land of controversy, obesity, wealth, and waste. We take for granted every single thing we have. Think about it. The computer you obviously have access to because you're reading this. The clothes on your body. The food in your stomach. If you've got time to waste on Gaia, I'm sure you're a decently well-off person. And many of us complain about the littlest things. I know I was all throughout today. Think about it. When was the last time you complain because something was sold out, or "There's nothing to eat in the house!"

But think about it. There is indeed food in your house, you just don't want to eat it. You have a choice. There are thousands of people less fortunate than us, but they manage to survive and be happy and don't complain about every little thing they don't have...

The fact that I don't have to wonder whether or not mom and dad will have enough money to pay for the one notebook I need for school, or that I'm not inhaling diesel fumes in my regular air, or that my neighbor is burning garbage, or that I have gawddamn toliet paper...

Dead serious. Most of the public restrooms required you to either go without or bring your own toliet paper. The only public restrooms that did have toliet paper were the ones in the fancysmancy hotels.

Aside from that, our pampered American stomachs would react with LP, otherwise known as "The Runs" if we drank any/too much [depends on the person, I was fine] of the tap water. THE TAP WATER. We always had to have mineral water for consumption purposes, commonly referred to as "good water" among the balikbayans. It makes you think. You see, we call it "good water" because it's the only water "good enough" for us to drink. Think about it. Americans have a superiority complex.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm just pointing out the details, I'm not saying I think I'm superior to anything at all.

Anyway, change topic.

HIGH SCHOOL. OMG FRIDAY IS RAD.

Yeahyeahyeah. Today's Friday. Thank goodness, I rather enjoy NOT hearing my alarm clock go off when I'm trying to get back into dream mode.

My dreams last night were weird, BTW. I don't remember them exactly, but you know how it goes. And saying that once again reminds me of the dream discussion I once had with Jesse. And Kuya. And a bunch of other people. XD

So, today was rad. Except my locker still won't open unless you attack it the right way. I apparently can't. XD The result was a slightly bleeding thumb. I learned my lesson.

The barbecue was fun. I got to hang with people, soyaknow. :] The seniors were armed with water balloons. From what I saw, only one was thrown, and it wasn't near me.

Also, the hallways are terrible in the heat. XD Yes, heat. The whole school was in. Crowded hallways. Some people without effective deodorant. You know how that goes.

I'm starting to get the swing of things. Most things other than my locker, that is. XD

I'm just another freshman.

Mom brought home pizza. :] Dinner time.

I'm out.

*takes a piece of your pizza* I've been quilty of saying "there isn't any food in the house." sweatdrop
I think it would be nice to live in the Philippines. Since you mentioned all that, it sounds like a place where you can make a humble living. Plus, its an island, I like that. So how is the weather over there?

The weather is usually ridiculously hot. @_@; But it was really rainy while I was over there, so it wasn't so hot. Just more humid than usual.
