It's hard to believe this is the last day of summer vacation. It's also unbelievable that my first day of high school is tomorrow. I knew it was going to come eventually, but it came fast. It's like only yesterday we were throwing pillows at each other in the Philippines, or I was making a speech that closed off the Class of 2006. Amazing.
I'm both scared and excited.
I was talking to Jesse about the whole first day. I think I'm going to wear the spring uniform. Polos versus blouses, I'm all for polos. And then the knee-high maroon socks, black school shoes, and the skirt. I'll bring a hoodie too... The school's hoodie, just to match. I gotta get some lunch money. As for my bookbag, I have no idea what to bring. Gah, I'll just bring some writing utensils and some notebooks.
Oh yeah, lockers. Hahaha, I didn't have lockers in elementary school. And why? Catholic school. [For those you don't know, Catholic schools aren't funded well because they get very little from the government. Most of the funding is from the school's parish, if any, tuition, and donations.] But the atmosphere in a Catholic school may or may not be better, depending on your opinion.
Uniforms, for example. Personally, I love uniforms. I don't have to bother with picking out an outfit every morning. I don't like skirts all that much, but whatever. And with uniforms, you can't really be judged by what you're wearing. Dress down days [when we get to wear our own clothes] are a slightly big deal. XD
Religion class is also easy. "God loves you." Aside from memorization, [Thou shalt not ____etc. isn't too hard to memorize. and "Blessed are ___, for they shall ___" is easy too.] Religion is an easy A/A+ for my report card. Good for bringing up my overall average, ya know?
Butwow. I wonder how this'll all turn out...
Goodbye summer. Hello high school.
In other news, Jesse finally got her laptop. I'm on AIM talking to her about it. She just found the stylus. XD Mmmhmm, Gateway cowprint box. X3 We were talking about when it was going to arrive, too.
And I'm talking to Kuya on YIM. <3 He failed the culinary club. XD Who am I to say though, I can barely cook things. XD And "ov corse", he's good at the sports club. XD Kuya's netspeak is the only netspeak that I'll willingly read.
I'm also talking to Lorna on YIM. XD It's crazy. I'm messing with everything she's saying. "Unless it's in Canda." XD;
Can we say, "I'm actually LOL-ing IRL"?
Ah, a short entry. I'm going to go play Maple Story with Knil, soyouknow. Maybe I'll lengthen this later. <3
---Later, around 6 PM---
My Filipino taste buds are kicking it. I'm loving the salt from the tortilla chips. XD That brings back memories. They put salt on everything, and I mean everything. XD Like, those cherries we were eating. The cousins would not stop putting salt on 'em. I liked the cherries as they were. No salt and plenty sweet. But no, they just had to go adding more and more salt. They looked at me funny when I did my usual strange complaining noises as they salted the fruit.
Then again, you'll just sweat out the sodium. XD;
I also played some Maple Story. Making a warrior account so I can go party with Knil and friends. Edward still loves the game too. XD He died for the fourth time, I believe. XD Poor kid. He's still young, but doing pretty well in an MMORPG for his age.
Mom's cooking sinigang. You know what kind of seasoning/flavoring stuff she's using? KNORR! XD<3 [/Catchy commercial reference]
Knil also went to tennis practice. When she came home, she handed me two garlic rolls in double foil. Wow, those were good. XD I think she said 5 of them for a dollar. That's awesome. XD If only I could get those for lunch in school... Then again, garlic breath isn't a good idea in school.
Currently listening to The All-American Rejects on iTunes.
I played lotsa Animal Crossing: WW today. :] I sold every single piece of fruit in the town. XD That's right! -- I shook a bunch of trees, took the fruits, and hauled 'em back and worth to Nook. Why? To make money to pay off the house debt. That's my main goal for the game currently. After that, it'll be making as much money [bells, whatever] to max out my bank account and donate enough bells to BoonI should go get my friend code sometime...
Wow. Twelve hours from now, I'm going to be waking up to get ready for school. That's scary and kinda weird. XD
But, I'm feeling better about the first day. Jesse and Knil have both been answering my thousands of questions and giving me their own opinions and advice. They're so gawddamn helpful. XD Knil even drew me a map of the school, along with explaining lotsa other stuff. This morning's IM convo with Jesse helped me calm down. XD My talk with Kuya made me feel pretty damn good too. XD Aside from talking about dreams, [Apparently we're all have dreams with the three of us in them, me, Ate, AND Kuya. XD] we shared other bits of our lives. And Bilog got a perfect grade on her math exam! n___n<3 I'm so froud. [/Flipaccent] Kuya also said some other things that I'm not allowed to repeat. Or just don't want to. X3<3
AHH. DX Knil's celly just made a noise 'cause she got a text. I was like, "WTF, I have a message?" Knil and I have the same cellphone, so I confused myself. She left her cellphone right next to me. She's currently showering, soyouknow. Ah, and it's from the usual person. XD
From now on, aside from being size 10, all my Gaia Journal entries will also be aligned... to jusitfy? XD I dunno how to say it. You get it though.
Okay. It was lengthened a bit. If I have anything else to say [doubt it], I'll edit it.
Dinner time soon. School tomorrow. And I'm out.

Ok, I have to say that I agree with you on that uniform thing. I wouldn't mind and it would be easier, plus, people wouldn't judge. 3nodding However, if you tell any of my friends at school, I would deny it. ninja
